Who Killed Graciela Alicia Gomez?

Who Killed Graciela Alicia Gomez?

Graciela Alicia Gomez was a Specialist in the Nevada National Guard, a dog lover, a daughter, niece, sister, and friend. She was well-respected by her colleagues and stepped up to help Nevada in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.

On October 31, 2021, Graciela was at a Halloween party at 257 Beesley Drive (near Charleston and Hollywood). The party had been shared dozens of times online, and the number of attendees grew to as many as 300-400 people.

The hosts tried to keep the party safe and turned away a group of 5 Latinos, likely teenagers, who refused to be patted down. When the group sped away from the house, someone fired 8 shots from the car at the house. One of those bullets struck Graciela and killed her.

Despite extensive investigations and numerous pleas for help by her friends and family, Graciela's murder has not been solved.

This fall will be 5 years since she was killed. We are sharing her story this week in hopes that someone will finally come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at (702) 828-3521. You can always remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers at (702) 385-5555.

Kimora McGinnies, 19 years old, was shot and killed at a Halloween party near Craig Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard on October 24, 2025. Her murder is also unsolved. Kimora left behind an infant son, and her mother and aunt are pleading for someone to come forward with information or a recording from the party to help the police.
