The Disappearance of Daniel Reza
This week on Sins & Survivors, we share the story of Daniel Reza, who went missing on August 25, 2019. His car was found at the Cathedral Rock trailhead at Mount Charleston, but he never returned.
Search and rescue teams from LVMPD, Red Rock Search and Rescue, and even Nellis Air Force Base joined the effort, using helicopters and volunteers on foot and ATV. After a week of searching, officials suspended the operation, but Daniel’s family continues to hope for answers.
Daniel was 35 when he disappeared. He’s described as 5’10”, 185 pounds, with brown eyes and brown or black hair. He may have been wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and jeans and carrying hiking gear—a blue backpack, a wooden walking stick, a tan “Spring Mountains” hat, and a blue lantern.
